Cheap first year, then what
Add year two before comparing. MAKEWEB is free in year one and NT$9,000 to 12,000 a year after; MEIWEB halves the first year and returns to NT$23,988.
Home/Plan comparison
Plan comparisonTaiwan offers three shapes of fixed-fee website: a templated annual plan, a custom subscription, and doing it yourself. AEL TECH's standard site is no build fee, from NT$399 a month, live in two to three weeks. The table puts it beside MAKEWEB, MEIWEB, Howseo and Strikingly.
Every figure comes from the provider's own page as published on 15 October 2026, linked at the end. Prices change, so check theirs before signing.
Scroll sideways. Reading one column top to bottom tells you what the first year looks like.

A few hundred a month can mean very different arrangements. These four answer whether you will still be happy in three years.
Add year two before comparing. MAKEWEB is free in year one and NT$9,000 to 12,000 a year after; MEIWEB halves the first year and returns to NT$23,988.
The domain is your address online. In your name, changing supplier is a settings change. In theirs, you are negotiating from behind.
Howseo's plan page is explicit: service ends if you do not renew, and migrating the database and code is quoted separately. Not a flaw, but a term worth knowing first.
Templates are fast and cheap, with the risk that a competitor runs the same layout. Custom takes longer and lets the structure follow your business.
We point clients at them when the fit is better. Different needs, different answers.
Including who we do not suit.
From NT$399 a month with no build fee, designed rather than templated, with search setup included at launch.
Each language is rewritten for its reader rather than translated, with hreflang set. Our own site works the same way.
Our schedule is two to three weeks after scope and material are confirmed. If the deadline is sooner, a template plan is faster.
If you want to restyle pages yourself, a DIY tool suits better. On our standard plan we maintain the content; editing yourself means the admin plan.
All pages checked on 15 October 2026. Providers change prices at will, so verify before quoting.
Tell us about the business and the problem you want solved. If another provider fits better, we will say so.
It depends how long you keep the site. Annual plans are usually cheap in year one and priced properly from year two; monthly keeps the early outlay low and makes stopping simple. Compare three-year totals rather than first-year ones.
A free or half-price first year is a normal way to win customers, with the cost returning in later annual fees or separate design charges. That is fine as long as you know the year-two figure and budget for it.
The template itself has little effect. Content, structure, speed and search setup do. The real risk is a structure fixed by the template, often the same one a competitor is running.
Two things decide it: whose name the domain is in, and what happens to the data and code when service ends. Howseo states migration is quoted separately; the other plan pages are silent, so ask before signing.

Yes. Send the quote or the plan page and we will point out duplicated charges and anything left unstated, even if you end up choosing them.
