01 / What customers look for

Café customers ask different questions to diners

People come to work, to read, to talk or to buy beans, and they check first whether they can stay.

01

How long can I stay

Time limits, how long at peak, what happens when every table is taken. The first thing anyone with a laptop checks.

02

Sockets and Wi-Fi

How many sockets, how fast the Wi-Fi, whether calls are fine. It decides whether a solo customer walks in.

03

Today's pastries

Pastries sell out, so people look for the range and how often the list changes.

04

Buying beans

A bag to take home, or a repeat order. Online ordering and shipping need to be findable.

05

Dogs, children, private hire

Whether dogs are welcome, whether there are high chairs, whether you host small talks or book clubs.

06

Closing days

Long weekends, maintenance, holidays. People check wherever you publish it, so publish it in one place.

02 / What the site needs

What belongs on a café website

These arrive as Instagram messages every day. On the site they answer themselves.

  • Seating: total covers, single seats, the long table, outdoor tables
  • Sockets and Wi-Fi, including whether calls and video calls are fine
  • Time limits and peak hours, stated plainly so nothing is awkward in person
  • Drinks and pastries, with a note on how the daily items are updated
  • Online orders for beans and drip bags, with shipping cost and dispatch time
  • Opening hours, closing days and holiday changes
  • Rules for dogs, children and private hire
  • Address, map link, walking time from the station and parking notes
  • LocalBusiness and CafeOrCoffeeShop structured data for hours and price range
  • A link to Instagram, with the menu and the rules kept on your own site
03 / Common mistakes

Five mistakes we see most often

Rarely a design problem. Usually information with no permanent home.

01

Rules only in Instagram stories

Stories vanish in 24 hours. A customer who cannot find the time limit either messages you or gives up.

02

A photo of the chalkboard menu

Google cannot read it and a phone cannot zoom it. Keep the photo, add a text version.

03

Selling beans with no shipping cost

When shipping and dispatch time appear only at checkout, carts get abandoned. Put both on the product page.

04

No fixed place for closures

If holiday hours take three places to find, people go elsewhere. One page, always the same one.

05

Notices posted only to social

If the site's notice section lags, customers read stale information. Keep one place and update it as you post.

04 / Which plan fits

What cafés usually choose

Introducing the shop and its rules fits the standard site. Selling beans needs the admin.

05 / Search setup

Search work done at launch

Set up once while the site is built, at no extra cost.

  • Titles and descriptions carrying the district and the detail people search, such as a café with sockets and no time limit
  • LocalBusiness structured data for hours, price range and location
  • A stable URL per product, with bean names and tasting notes as text
  • Google Search Console submission, checked page by page after launch
  • Hours and phone number aligned with the Google Business Profile
  • Internal links from seating to the map, and from the menu to online orders
06 / Launch

Two to three weeks from the first call

Photos and the bean list take the time. We handle the site.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

Whether your customers come to work or to talk, and whether beans go online.

  2. 02

    Rules and menu

Time limits, seat counts, the bean list and prices. A message is enough.

  3. 03

    First version

You see the homepage, the seating page and a product page before we build the detail.

  4. 04

    Launch and upkeep

Search setup, Google Business Profile aligned, then monthly maintenance.

08 / FAQ

What café owners ask first

Want to see where you stand?

Send the shop name and your Instagram. The free website check lists what customers cannot find today.

Chat on LINE
Instagram works for us. Do we need a website?

Instagram shows the atmosphere, but stories disappear and posts are hard to search. Seating rules, hours and the bean list on your own site are there whenever someone searches your name.

Is selling beans online complicated?

With a short product list the admin plan covers publishing, orders and fulfilment. Payments connect to the usual Taiwanese providers, and shipping terms sit on the product page.

Pastries change daily. How do we handle that?

The site carries the fixed range and the usual daily types, with one place that gets updated. If you want to change it each morning, take the admin plan.

Will publishing a time limit scare people off?

Usually it filters for the right customer. People who want to settle in read the rule first, and there are far fewer awkward conversations at the table.

Do we need professional photos?

Existing photos are fastest. Otherwise we lay the pages out with phone shots and swap in finished photography later.

What if we open a second shop?

Start with one page listing both. When the two shops serve different customers, each gets its own URL.

Should the site and the Google profile be done together?

Yes. The profile wins the map and the name search; the site holds the full detail. Matching hours and phone number across both is the minimum.

Can you handle the domain and email?

Yes. Keep the domain in your own name, and a branded mailbox on that domain reads far better to customers than a free address.
