Brand e-commerce: a store that also gets found

AEL TECH builds brand e-commerce sites, planning product pages, payments, shipping, returns and repeat purchases together. A brand-only site starts at NT$399 a month; selling with an admin starts at NT$1,499. No build fee, live in two to three weeks.

Selling well on a marketplace and wanting repeat buyers on your own site is the usual starting point.

01 / What buyers look for

What a buyer checks before paying

Someone on your own site usually knows the brand already. A few doubts are all that remain.

01

Is this the official store

The brand site is where a buyer rules out a copycat. Company details, contacts and social links all have to match.

02

Shipping and arrival

Free-shipping threshold, dispatch time, convenience store pickup. Hidden, the cart sits there.

03

Can I return it

The returns page is one of the most read on any store. Stating it clearly raises conversion rather than lowering it.

04

Size, ingredients, specs

A size chart for clothing, ingredients for skincare, shelf life for food. Thin detail means no order.

05

Why buy here

A member price, a first-order offer or a gift over a threshold is the reason to leave the marketplace.

06

Payment options

Card, bank transfer, convenience store code, mobile payment. Miss a common one and you lose that share.

02 / What the site needs

What belongs on a brand store

Every line here moves the checkout rate.

  • Product pages: hero shot, in-use photos, specs, materials or ingredients, size chart
  • Price, stock status and a back-in-stock notice
  • Shipping rules and dispatch time on the product page, not only at checkout
  • Payment options listed: card, transfer, store code, mobile payment
  • Returns and the statutory cooling-off period, following current consumer rules
  • Member sign-up and a repeat-purchase incentive
  • Product and Offer structured data so Google can show price and availability
  • Brand story and company details, which is what makes the store read as official
  • FAQ: care, shelf life, customisation and made-to-order
  • Support routes: LINE official account, a form, and a stated reply time
03 / Common mistakes

Five mistakes we see most often

The first three abandon carts. The fourth keeps traffic flat forever.

01

Shipping revealed at checkout

A buyer who enters an address and then meets the shipping cost is the most likely to leave. Put the threshold on the product page and beside the cart.

02

Descriptions locked in images

Ingredients and sizes inside a picture cannot be read by Google or searched by anyone. Keep a text version.

03

Forced registration

Each extra step costs orders. Allow guest checkout and invite membership afterwards.

04

No content of its own

A site made only of product pages struggles to get found. Care guides and buying guides catch the searches.

05

No stock status

A sold-out item that still adds to cart produces complaints and refunds. Show availability on the product page.

04 / Which plan fits

What brands usually choose

Brand-only and sending buyers to a marketplace fits the standard site. Checking out on your own site needs the admin.

05 / Search setup

Search work done at launch

Set up once while the site is built, at no extra cost.

  • A stable URL per product, titled brand plus item plus the spec that matters
  • Product and Offer structured data for price, availability and reviews
  • Category page titles and descriptions that catch material-plus-item searches
  • Image file names and alt text naming the product, since image search sells
  • Google Search Console submission, with product pages checked into the index
  • Internal links from guides to products, and from products back to the category
06 / Launch

Two to three weeks from the first call

Product data takes the time, and the payment application runs in parallel.

  1. 01

    Talk it through

How many products, which marketplaces you use, your order value and your buyers.

  2. 02

    Product data

Names, prices, specs, images and stock. A spreadsheet is the fastest route.

  3. 03

    Payments and shipping

Apply for the payment service, set shipping rules and pickup, then test a real order.

  4. 04

    Launch and upkeep

Search setup and indexing, then monthly maintenance and small changes.

08 / FAQ

What brands ask first

What would a site of your own add?

Send the brand name and your marketplace listings. The free website check lists the searches a brand site would catch.

Chat on LINE
We sell on marketplaces. Why our own store?

Marketplaces bring new buyers; your store keeps the repeat ones. Commission and ranking rules are not yours, while your customer list, content and search position are. Most brands run both.

Do we apply for the payment service ourselves?

Yes, because the contract is with your company. We supply the technical details and handle the integration and testing.

We have hundreds of products. Is loading them brutal?

Put names, prices, specs and images in one spreadsheet. We import the first batch and you maintain it in the admin afterwards.

How detailed should the returns policy be?

Consumer rules for distance selling give you the frame. State what can and cannot be returned, how the period is counted and who to contact, following the authority's current wording.

Where does traffic come from?

Search is the steady channel. Product pages catch product searches, guides catch how-to-choose and how-to-care searches, and the guides link to the products.

Can you build a bilingual store?

Yes, as a custom build. A second language also means currency, shipping and tax decisions, which we settle during planning.

Can we reuse marketplace product photos?

Yes, though the hero shots look better at a consistent size and background so the grid reads evenly. Compress them: product page speed moves conversion directly.

Do we need a membership system?

Worth it where order values are low and repeat purchases frequent. For once-a-year categories, a newsletter and discount codes are enough. Membership sits in the admin plan or a custom build.
